Cookie Policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Kids AI Mentor uses cookies and similar technologies on kidsaimentor.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Datenschutzerklärung.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage (e.g. to remember your cookie choice) and scripts that set identifiers in your browser.
2. How we use cookies
2.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for basic site functions and security. They do not require consent under the ePrivacy rules when strictly necessary.
- Cookie consent preference — stores whether you accepted or declined optional cookies (local storage key
cookieConsent) - Session / security — may be set by our hosting or forms to prevent abuse
- Account session — when you sign in on the website, authentication tokens may be stored locally so you stay logged in
2.2 Marketing & analytics (optional — consent required)
If you click Accept on our cookie banner, we load Klaviyo onsite tracking (company ID RHDf7J) to understand website visits, measure marketing performance, and personalize or improve email and onsite messaging. Klaviyo may set cookies or similar identifiers and process usage data (for example pages viewed, device/browser information, and events).
Provider: Klaviyo, Inc. (USA). Data may be transferred to the United States with appropriate safeguards (see our Privacy Policy).
If you click Decline, we do not load Klaviyo and optional marketing/analytics cookies are not set for that purpose.
We may also use other analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) in the future under the same consent. Those tools are only activated after you accept optional cookies.
3. Legal basis (EU / Germany)
Non-essential cookies and similar technologies (including Klaviyo) are used only with your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); ePrivacy Directive). You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing site data for kidsaimentor.com in your browser (which clears cookieConsent) or by contacting info@kidsaimentor.com. After clearing, the banner will appear again on your next visit.
4. Managing cookies
You can control cookies through:
- Our cookie banner on first visit (Accept / Decline)
- Your browser settings (block or delete cookies and site data)
- Industry opt-out tools for certain advertising or analytics providers where available
Blocking all cookies may affect site functionality (for example staying signed in).
5. Retention
- Consent preference: typically until you clear site data (or up to 12 months before we may ask again)
- Klaviyo / marketing cookies: per Klaviyo’s settings (often up to 24 months unless you delete them earlier)
