It is designed to meet the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy laws.

3. Mobile app reminders (local notifications)
The Kids AI Mentor app can send local reminders scheduled on your device (they can appear when the app is closed). You control them in Settings → Reminders:
- Turn reminders on or off
- Choose a daily reminder time
- Set frequency per habit category (off, once daily, at task time, or both)
- Optional pending-habit nudges and completion celebrations
Message wording and default times may be updated by us via the app configuration API; scheduling still happens on your phone. We do not sell notification data. See also How reminders work.
